The Kelli Devan Edwards Memorial Writers Fund
Members may apply for grants up to $200, to be used for writing-related endeavors, such as (but not limited to): (1) writing education, workshops, conferences, retreats, and training; (2) community outreach and teaching related to writing; (3) miscellaneous expenses to benefit and boost a writer's growth; and (4) expenses related to self-publishing such as editing, book design, or production. Please note: because many members aspire to self-publish, and two or more might apply in the same time period, the Board of Directors will ask to see sample material from a work in progress if funds are being requested for this purpose. However, the fund is not intended for expenses such as book marketing or advertising, social media expenses, or any other book promotional costs.
